Another wedding in the books this year! And I’m still kind of sad that it’s all over! 😦 I was so looking forward to this wedding because everything was just right up my alley, outdoor wedding, on a farm in the country, vintage accents all around and beautiful flowers. I was in heaven! The week and days leading up to the wedding we all were a little bummed because the forecast showed 100% of rain all day…I checked the weather the day before and even the morning of, and still, rain all day. So sad! So I’m driving down to the venue, which is Kenzi’s parents farm, and as I’m driving the rain stops…and I did not see rain one more time until after I got home later that night. Hallelujah! Prayers were answered! No rain at all and the day was perfect!
I always start my wedding days out with the details, flowers, decor, etc. I walked into the tent and was awestruck. The flowers! Oh my goodness they were like a fairy tale. If you need flowers for any occasion you must contact Cathy Teeters at Cathy Teeters Beautiful Weddings.
Next up was getting ready and bridal portraits! But first, the rings!! All the heart eyes for these!
Kenzi – you are the most stunning bride!
Ok, these bridesmaids pictures are some of my most favorite photos ever. These girls are gorgeous and were so much fun!
Kenzi wanted to do a first look with her dad. I am so happy she did because I just loved his reaction!
Next up it was time to go see the handsome fellas. Kenzi’s parents property has a cabin located on it where the guys got ready. It was on a lake and just so gorgeous. I think I just may move in 😉
Now it’s wedding time! The wedding was supposed to be in front of the lake but with all the threat of rain and all the rain we had the week before they decided to move it under the tent and it turned out perfect.
Oh, and the arbor that they are standing under…Jarrett built that!
Gosh, they seriously are the cutest couple ever and so easy to photograph! Their love for each other just radiates off them. ❤
Reception time! I love how all the guests held hands for the prayer.
Kenzi’s dad was giving a toast here and I just love how they were cuddled up watching him ❤
Ok, so a lot of people do the anniversary dance at their weddings and the dj says of if you’ve been married less than 5 years off the dance floor, less than 20, etc and the longest married couple is the last one on the dance floor. I was AMAZED at how many couples were still left after 20 and 30 years. It was so great to see. Kenzi and Jarrett definitely have a lot of great couples to look up to as they move into this new chapter of their lives.
Kenzi and Jarrett – I can’t thank you enough for letting me be a part of your super amazing day. I wish you two nothing but the best and I know you will totally rock this whole marriage thing. I can’t wait to see what you two are able to accomplish together. Much love to you both! ❤ ❤
Also, a HUGE thank you to these amazing vendors!
